I hope this letter finds you enjoying the remaining days of summer. As the new superintendent for Battle River School Division, I am thrilled to welcome everyone back as we move forward into the 2023-24 school year.

My husband, Leny, and I moved to Camrose at the end of July. We have two adult children, Jae-Ann who is 23 years old, and Leyton who is 21. Leny and I have spent some time this summer exploring sites in BRSD. I look forward to getting to know our BRSD communities. 

Our vision, Every Student, Every Day, a Success, embodies our commitment to providing an optimal educational experience for each one of our students. With a deep passion for education and a strong focus on nurturing growth, creativity and achievement, I am honoured to be leading our exceptional team of educators and staff members to support our students.

As we embark on this new school year, I want to assure you that we are devoted to fostering an environment where your children can thrive academically, emotionally and socially. The collaborative partnership between our schools and our parents and guardians is invaluable.
