BRSD Board of Trustees Approves 2024-2027 Education Plan

The Board of Trustees at Battle River School Division (BRSD) is pleased to announce the approval of BRSD’s 2024-27 Education Plan, designed to ensure its vision: Every Student, Every Day, a Success. This comprehensive plan outlines three core priorities: Learning Success for All, Enhance High Quality Learning and Working Environments, and Well-Being.

This year, BRSD’s Three Year Education Plan was developed around input received from over 300 stakeholders, while maintaining alignment with Alberta Education’s priorities. BRSD collected feedback through a survey of staff, students and stakeholders who provided invaluable insights that helped shape our priorities, outcomes and strategies.

This plan reflects a collaborative effort to optimize educational outcomes. Through engagement opportunities, the use of best practices, and the analysis of school, division, and provincial data at various levels, BRSD has refined its focus areas to ensure effectiveness for the continual improvement of quality student learning.

The 2024-27 BRSD Education Plan connects each employee to our vision of Every Student, Every Day, a Success. The Education Plan is embedded not only in BRSD schools but throughout all departments. The work being done through this plan embodies a culture which acts as a model that staff can align actions with, aiming to ensure that each priority is met, and that student success is achieved.
